After the 3rd wettest April in recorded history, Milwaukee is more than ready for summer. While there is plenty going on around town in May, Memorial Day always marks the official start to summer in South East Wisconsin. Read on to discover some of the fun events happening in Milwaukee this June!

June kicks off with Downtown Dining Week, an annual favorite for visitors and locals alike. Head downtown June 1-8th for great deals on many of Milwaukee's best restaurants. For eight days, you'll enjoy three-course meals at $12.50 for lunch and $25 or $35 for dinner. Just pick your starter, entree and dessert from a list of pre-selected favorites, then enjoy your culinary tour of our world-class city. More information can be found on here:

After getting your fill at any of our great restaurants it may be time to walk it off at the Henry Maier Festival Grounds located on the shores of Lake Michigan.  Pride Fest kicks off the festival season June 9, 10, and 11th this year. An $18 general admission ticket grants you access to all of the shows on every stage, including headliners! The festival also features a marketplace full of craft vendors and local food options.

Another major event coming to Wisconsin this June is the 2017 U.S. Open Championship at the near by Erin Hills Golf Course. The best golfers in the world will descend on our region June 12-18th to compete for the trophy. Roughly 45 minutes from Milwaukee, we are sure that many golf fans will use our city as their home base and will spend plenty of time off the course taking in Wisconsin's largest city.

Also debuting this June is Sculpture Milwaukee. 22 sculptures, ranging in size from a few feet to over forty, will line Wisconsin Avenue from O'Donnell Park to Sixth Street June through October. Artists will include the famous Santiago Calatrava who designed the "Wings" at the Milwaukee Art Museum. More information will be provided after the unveiling.
